JS-PPh is colorless transparent liquid, with pleasant sweat scent. Been toxicless and environmental friendly, it has remarkable impact on reducing hte the VOC effect of the paints. It's used as high-efficient film-forming aids for water-based glue and dispersing body paint, and has distinct effect on gross or semigross paints. It is a strong solvent for vinylphenyl acetate, acrylic ester,styrene acrylic ester, etc.. Its relative little solvency in water makes it possible for it to be thoroughly absorbed, and form into excellent excessive paint film, and thereby offers the latex paints the best assembly preformance and color-folding properties, as well as fine stability. On the same condition, such as luster, fluidity, color-folding properties, and cleaning resistence, etc., the consumption of JS-PPh is decreased by around 30-50% as compared with common film-forming aids such as TEXANOL (or alcohol ester in China). The excessively high polymerizing ability has increase the comprehensive film-forming efficiency 1.5-2 fold, the production cost is thereby drastically reduced. For most of latex liquid, the consumption put in JS-PPh is 3.5-5%, tge lowest film-forming temperature(MFT) can reach to -1°C.
After been optimized, JS-PPh(E), (T) can be added at any stage of paint-manufacturing process. Therefore, the process procedure is simplified remarkably, and offer a solution to the stabilities issue brought by the high concentration of specific dispersing body or self-made latex.
Usage & consumption:
1: It is recommended that the JS-PPh be added before latex, or before pigment grinding stage, so that it can be easily coupling with other substance in the formula system, and achieve better emulsifing and dispersing effect, while leaving no negative impact on the stability of pigments, etc.
2. Generally speaking, the added volume of vinegar latex is 2.5-4.5%, and those of benzene is 2-4%.
